HP's Spectre One is an all-in-one PC designed to compete with Apple's iMac. It runs Windows 8 with an Intel Core i5 processor (2.9GHz) and 6GB of RAM. Graphics come courtesy of a NVIDIA GeForce chip (1GB of memory) and a 1TB hard drive is on hand for your files. The screen boasts 1920 x 1080 resolution and measures in at 23 inches. It comes with a wireless mouse and trackpad and the monitor houses an HDMI input and a 3-in-1 memory card reader. It's yours for $1,299.
Initial reviews for the Spectre One were uniformly negative. It lost points for a high price and underwhelming performance specs. There's no touch-screen either, which may turn off some Windows 8 users looking for the full touch experience.
