The D4 is a high-end digital SLR featuring a 16.2-megapixel, 35mm-sized CMOS sensor, 10 frames-per-second (fps) shooting and the ability to record 1080p HD videos at 30 fps. This isn't a camera for the casual snapshooter: at $6,000 you'll likely be a pro, a die-hard enthusiast or a member of the One Percent to take more than a passing interest in the D4. Nonetheless, for those with the means, reviewers more almost universally high on the D4 - hailing its speed, low light performance, redesigned ergonomics and HD video capture.
