Why Does Consumer Reports Love the iPad Now?

Consumer Reports first fanned flames by reporting the new iPad runs almost hot enough to burn. Now the new iPad is its top recommended tablet. Huh? Is Consumer Reports the last bastion of unbiased reviews, or a dinosaur hindered by its overly rigid review formulas?
